COURSE DESCRIPTION & OVERALL GOAL

This annual conference aims to equip providers with the latest advancements and best practices in Tuberculosis (TB) prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and care. Through interactive sessions and discussions, the conference seeks to share necessary tools, strategies, and resources to effectively address the challenges encountered by TB and latent TB infection and explore how AI tools can be applied to TB care.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND
This conference is open to physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, nurses, respiratory therapists, infection preventionists, and other healthcare staff who work in collaboration with TB control and prevention programs.

OBJECTIVES
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be better able to:

  • Explain how AI-driven tools can be applied in medical education, TB care and screening.
  • Describe the latent TB infection (LTBI) cascade of care and identify gaps that contribute to missed prevention opportunities.
  • Apply patient-centered care principles to improve TB diagnosis, treatment, communication, and support across the care continuum.
